This is Velcro's latest product for marine use, formulated for UV resistance.
The adhesive is designed to hold tenaciously to fiberglass, metal, inflatable dinghies and wood surfaces in harsh environments. The adhesive strength actually increases after the adhesive has cured and been exposed to moisture.
This product is durable and has a long UV service life, making it ideal for onboard mounting projects.
Temperature range is -70° to +200° F; temperature range of the adhesive is -20° to +180° F
We have obtained a large supply of this hard-to-get, but extremely handy material from Velcro in 1" and 2" widths both in black and white.
This is the real McCoy! Get superior holding strength in wet environments with marine-grade Velcro!
Note: Velcro suggests that the "hook" part is connected to the item to be mounted. It's better to press the hook into the loop. Not intended for use under the waterline.
