Why Authtether™?

The fastest response is the best response in a MOB situation. It does you absolutely no good to have a GPS location if your activation mark is delayed or you simply did not hear the GPS alert. Response time is critical for finding and saving a crew member.

How it works

Autotether™ sounds a loud (105 Db) electronic "screeming" siren the instant a crew member falls overboard. The siren can be heard for 1/2 mile and will most certainly wake up and alert all onboard. This is your best defense Yes, of course, you should employ all other recommended safety procedures but nothing is more effective than a loud warning signal the instant a MOB occurs.

The Autotether™ is a wireless lanyard MOB system that requires no tools or wiring and deploys literally in minutes. The Autotether works on a radio signal principal that is not effected by rain, splashes or partial submersion. It sounds the air horn if there is a MOB or a sensor moves out of range. Yes, this is an effective dingy alarm. It comes standard with one crew member wireless sensors but can optionally add additional three crew members (Extra Sensors Available Here). It's also great for pets.

Simply, the Autotether™ sounds the alarm if anyone wearing a sensor falls overboard. The system will also sound the alarm if the sensor travels out of range, more than 100 feet from the receiver. People that tow dinghies place a sensor in the dinghy, if it breaks loose and goes out of range the alarm will sound.
